Guild Wars 2

Hi, I’m a level 60 warrior. I have mostly farmed hearts and events to reach level 60. I want to find some new ways to level, some thing more fun than just doing hearts because that has begun to get monotonous. I’ve been doing hearts and events in sparkfly fen but can’t get into the area. I would love to find a good zone to zerg events in but I can’t seem to find one at this level. If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried World Vs. World?

I know it is not the “traditional” way to level, but you can do it surprisingly fast there.

There are regular mobs to kill. Plenty of herbs, trees, and mines to gather. And every supply caravan or keep you attack counts as an event.

So you can still earn your daily achievement quest rewards.

Most importantly it is a GREAT way to break up monotony and still be earning very good exp.

Another great way is crafting – you can earn a TON of exp from crafting if you have enough materials.

Hit B click the wvw banner and queue for any borderland (Most people prefer Eternal battleground but the queue time is terrible) Do those events there. Follow the zerg and help take camps/towers/castles etc.

Work on map completion there too. Although the rewards for wvw map completion seem to bet set for 26.

The overall queue time is so long (Can be hours) you want to queue asap and then go about your leveling until you get in.

Try crafting, you can get quite a few levels with crafting in a short time frame. It won’t level you all the way but, it’s good to see a couple levels shaved off for clicking a single button on a stack of items.

What profession would you suggest? So far I’ve been going with armor smithing.

For warrior, Armorsmithing and Weaponsmithing are obvious choies. Hunstman will let you build bows and rifles, Jeweler will get you upgrade components and Cooking will give you temporary buffs. I think that was all that applied to the Warrior.

armorsmithing is best for you. But cooking is easy xp. It can get expensive though so watch your cash.

2. Crafting – all of them. You can have 2 at a time and be able to switch to others but it will cost a little to switch. You don’t lose your current craft level if you switch to a new one.
3. Have you explored all the lower level zones? With the down-leveling you can explore all the areas and still gain experience and drops. Go show off your higher level gears and skills to newbs, just don’t die to something like a boar :p

The boar always get me… I have explored all the lower level zones but the slyvari area lol
