Guild Wars 2

So I am told to save all my mats and craft later in the game to level faster then.. However when I complete quests they all have recipes to buy.. Should I buy these or will there be recipes I can buy from vendors in town? I I am only level 8 and I just started. I thank you in advance.

I done all the aviable craft,the only one that require you to buy materials or recipe from NPCs,is the cooking(but just for few recipe).
If you do any other kind of craft,you don’t need to buy anything from quest NPCs(just some materials from the craft npcs).

Don’t bother – the best experience during crafting comes from using the discovery tab. You’ll select different combinations of materials to “discover” recipes for certain pieces of gear. I’d suggest checking out the wiki page for whichever crafting discipline you’ll be working on – it’ll have all the formulas you can use in the discovery tab to craft efficiently and for the most XP. A quick video tutorial on youtube couldn’t hurt either. Good luck!

from what ive seen, you can learn any recipe, even if you dont have the required skill yet. so if you want the recipe, grab it, but destijil is right, discovery gives the best xp
