Guild Wars 2

Hello guys.
I have HoT and i cant decide what class to play. I love how great sword looks in this game but i also find that bows are cool too. Many ppl said me that ranger have low dps coz its supporter and have hard time on pvp or fast kills. Can u help guys me find class that have shine skills or use this weapons sets ( can be only GS ) Thanks for all help here and see you in game

Two classes can use both a GS and a longbow: Ranger and Warrior.

Both have their benefits, but I think a warrior is more accepted and liked (in all game modes).

Edit: Actually, I forgot that Guardian now can use a longbow with the Dragonhunter elite Spec, but you won’t have access to that until you’ve fully leveled a “normal” Guardian. Guards also use greatsword, too.

Dragon hunter (guardian elite spec) fits your needs pretty well.
LB+GS is a good combo, they are good in PvE and PvP and I personally like heavy armor classes.

Ranger is pretty good in PvP, but not with LB+GS combo, but as Druid with Staff+LB or GS works nicely.

I heard dragon hunter is getting nerfed to the ground

Anet hasn’t told us specifically what they’re changing. It’s extremely doubtful DH will get obliterated though, it’s not even that great of a PvP spec as is.
