Guild Wars 2

Hi

i’m looking for a class that suits me and i have a little problems with that.In others mmo like wow,paladin was my favourite class.He was very versatile,he could heal himselfs and i loved to play him as holy or retri.As holy i got very good survability,so i could keep 1 vs 2 for a long time and still make some dmg(loved it),even sometimes i could kill one player.My favourite build was called holy shock pala.Also i liked retri cause i could still have little bit survability and do some high numbers (cause i was holding 2h weapon).

So can i find sth similiar here? I have guardian lvl 80 but i dont have much fun playing as him,maybe i’m doing sth wrong? Or maybe i should try sth different like warrior or engi?

Considering Guardian is the closest thing you’ll find to a Paladin from World of Warcraft in Guild Wars 2 it may be time for you to try out something new

Warrior is a pretty easy class to learn and extremely easy to level, from the information you’ve provided I’d say you should try it out next if you want to stick to something close to a Paladin – however you may find it about as fun as playing your Guardian.

If you want to try out something different however, the more engaging classes to play in my experience are Thieves, Mesmers and Elementalists. I’d recommend specific weapon sets but I don’t know what might appeal to you, I personally had a lot of fun using dagger/dagger as both Thief and Ele and, while none of their weapons really struck me as awesome, Mesmers have some fun utility skills (Portal and Feedback being some obvious favourites).

I played a little bit as a thief and i it was quite nice,except that thief is very squishy.
But what do you think about engi ?
