Guild Wars 2

Hi i was wondering what is a fun char to play that is versatile, has alot of variety through weapons etc. i’m currently having trouble sticking to the one char i’ve currently tried necro/guardian/hunter and that’s about it i’ve only gotten them to about level 8 and then stop cause it just gets to hard to follow the main quest and i’m not sure what to really do.. so all i’m asking is the above and also an easy race and class to play through the entire game???? thanks

Uhm…the above are actually among to easiest professions to play, especially in the beginning oO

If you want fun, try an Asura Also, if you have trouble leveling, try out another race’s starting area. And have you tried crafting? Or WvW? Or plain old exploring?

i would not know the first thing about crafting

Uhm…I’m kinda too lazy to explain it all here, you might try the crafting forum – or one of the many GW2 crafting guides out there. Just use google

If you just wnat to try it out, you can access crafting stations and -vendors in all of the major cities (and one outpost in each of the starter areas). Crafting is a nice source of xp, aside from the obvious bonuses of prodiving you with gear or bossts.

Professions
Fun profession: Engineer. so much variety and fun kits.
Lots of weapon options: Warrior. But I hear they get quite boring to level.
Easy to level: Guardian. Good selection of weapons and lotsa survivability.

Races
Asura: Snarky, funny, techy, self-centered.
Sylvari: Altruistic, whimsical, ethereal, naive.
Human: Believable, nothing special.
Charr: Brutal, exciting, dynamic, warring.

Human Guardian is a fun Character to play as, and the starting area is easy and good for building your character to take on tougher challenges. As a guardian you can solo pretty much all Personal Story to boot. You get alot of different weapon choices and is very versitile, and as human you get Hounds of Balthazar a decent Elite skill which is hard to come by as most of them are disappointing.
