Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone. My friend and I are hesitating about what EU server to pick. We don’t know much about the game, we are pretty casual and still would love to have a bite at whatever this game has to offer. I could not find any relevant info on the servers myself, at least that which would not be outdated by now. Any tips? Would hate to be stuck at some point in the game just because we picked the wrong world. Thanks in advance.

Aurora Glade is awesome, since I moved here I’ve been having a lot more fun than on my old server ^^

is it populated enough on lower levels?

I have been a resident of Gandara since release and I really enjoy it. Chat is very friendly and kind. people are helpfull. It is highly populated and very good balanced (we do okayish in World Versus World, have a mature sPvP population, low level maps are nicely filled, but high level events are also very active (I’ve been guesting round several times to find an unlocked temple of balthasar but always ended un my own server cause people where actually doing it succesfull).

I would Vote for Far Shiverpeeks as thats where i now reside on a friend’s recommendation and it is a great server, i can also vouch for Gandara, i have never played on it but fighting against them was very fun, unfortunately we have left you guys behind now

my previous server was Desolation, thats a great server too, but the majority of people i met who are nice have either been opponents in WvW on Gandara or everyone in fact on Shiverpeeks.

Well, i can say this:

What do you want to play?
PvE? WvW (World PvP) ?

There are High, Medium and Low Servers. Between those, there are more WvW oriented and PvE oriented.

If you want to play in a PvE server i recommend a Medium to High server between t4-t9 WvW tiers. (servers between nº10 and 27)
If you want to play in WvW server i recommend a Medium to High server between T1 and T3. (servers between nº1 and 9)

For Low, Medium and High servers, check upon creation.
