Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone. I’m currently on Sorrow’s Furnace as that’s where my friends were but they no longer play the game so I’m on the lookout on choosing a new home. I know there’s a lot of praise for Tarnished Coast but it’s full atm. Are there any other good alternatives out there?

There are plenty of alternatives, but it would be helpful to know what you want from the game. Do you care about WvWvW? Do you mostly do PvE? Are you into world events and just looking for more activity or are you looking for groups to farm instances?

A pretty healthy combination of everything; I suppose a server that feels a lot more active. If I had to get to specifics though, instances and WvW would definitely be higher priorities.

I’ve seen a lot of call outs for people running instances on the two servers I’ve been on, so I wouldn’t expect that to be an issue. If you are interested in WvW, I’d look at either Tier1 or Tier2 servers, depending on your level of interest in WvW. You can check that here : http://mos.millenium.org/matchups#NA

I am on Stormbluff Isle and we have been in T1 for a while now. We tend to have some pretty good matches so you should have fun wherever you go. Though, if you go to Sea of Sorrows or Jade Quarry, just know that I will have to kill you =)

Even outside of WvW, I’d expect these places to have good populations.
