Im a returning player and the environment maguuma is very hostile and also confusing, is anyone actively doing hero point runs on weekdays/weekends?

You can try the subreddit, some groups will post notices ahead of time when doing HP runs in those maps, but most of them are in EU servers.

Or just look in LFG and/or map chat. They happen fairly regularly
