Looted item that was soulbound from the start

In WvW I apparently somehow looted a rare “carrion amulet” (level 80) which is soulbound though right from the start without me actually wearing it or anything. Oo
Any idea why it is soulbound and any idea what I should do with it (useless to me)?

It could mean u can use it, but that it means its already Soulbound to u?!
I think there r items that say Soulbound when not used/equipped that SHOULD say “Soulbound on use”, prolly a bug or an oversight from Anet then.

(Almost?) All looted jewellery is currently soulbound on acquire. It also makes it so you cannot salvage it, only sell it to an NPC.
