Guild Wars 2

So I played GW2 a lot when it came out I probably have something like 800 total hours on that account. Around the time living story came out I stopped playing. Came back for HoT but forgot my old pw! So I said whatever I had fun when I used to play, Anet you can have more money for a job well done and bought a new account. Put in a good 100 hrs in the new account.

Then I found the pw for my old account and was able to log in…. and most of the stuff I have is account bound and can’t be mailed to my new account… I certainly don’t have the time or desire to maintain two accounts, one account will naturally not get much use and be useless…

Any ideas on how I can at least use one account to feed the other one, or gain any sort of benefit whatsoever?

If you don’t mind logging into the old one once per day, it can collect daily login awards. Use the laurels to buy bags of T6 mats and send them to your new account to use or to sell.

The laurels is a big one.

Park your chars at a rich node to harvest or a chest if between level 21 and 31 (silver doubloons). Use it as storage. You can send stack of mats you don’t want to sell right away and that account can hold them. The key runs are one a week per account. You can do it on both (can’t combine the scraps though, so that’s a drawback). With the expansion they are putting shards in pvp reward tracks that are needed for Precursor crafting. You can do the pvp daily on it also and send those shards to your main account, to sell or use.

If you have a personal guild have them join it and give them full perms. That way if your main accidentally leaves it the guild will not go poof. You can then be invited back and perms restored.
