MF Runes
gold find isnt as useful as magic find outside of dungeons imo (though the only source of either that you should be recieving in a dungeon is omnom noms)
i like 5 runes of the noble and one rune of the pirate; the power helps kill stuff faster
80 warr [Blaze Steelsoul], 80 ele [Blaze Nightstrike], 80 mesmer [Grim Shatterwhirl]
80 guard [Dusk Grimlight], 80 engi [Flintgear]
Many people consider it rude and selfish to use MF runes/equipment (other than food) in a dungeon party, since it makes you less effective at killing/healing/helping the party.
I’d stick with the zerk armor for dungeons and save the MF for outside world.

Also consider that Magic find doesn’t work on chests, only on foes so you are sacrificing a lot of damage/protection for a very minor increase in gold cause the most revenue in dungeons comes from chests and bags of wonderous goods. MF doesnt increase that.
Also I disagree with the current popularity of zerker gear in dungeons. I’m not saying that it isn’t good, but it isn’’t as OP as some are claiming and I see a lot of people jumping blindly into zerkergear without knowing and understanding the build they are running. Gear stats, skills and traits should be in a good balance aimed for the profession your playing. Don’t play zerker cause someone is saying you should but cause you know it is good for you and understand why.

Alright, so what I am seeing is:
Outside World Armor (MF): Pirate/Noble combo
Dungeon Armor: Scavenging
Alright, sounds good to me.
@Mercury, I know berserk is good for speed running dungeons because of its high damage output, to bring down things much faster in result they cant hit you much and thus you win, for sacrificing protection/health you make up for it in pure raw damage, I been running the condition verson to it, but logic hit me i’m using a longbow/short-bow at 1200 range…my traps are only a 800~ range…someone showed me the math its actually more damage to not bother with condition damage boosting, and stick with pure raw damage.

yip, but the static, Go zerker and win claim is just wrong. in speed runs zerker is good indeed, but I hate speedclears and I’m more interested in being able to do all dungeons and have a lot of fun (and not just a few paths like CoF1).
My point is that for beginning players an advice to go zerker is in my opinion wrong if you not only tell them how to trait and skill up. Besides that, it should be to the player to see if they want to go full offense or want to be more defensive and lay back play style. Zerker just for zerker is wrong. If you are e.g. a guardian specialised in Shouts and traited in that direction, zerker isn’t a smart thing to do wear. An ele does a huge maount of damage, but even with zerker gear on you still need to fight an amount of time against enemey’s that can and will one hit you (specially when traited for damage as well).
No problem with zerker, but it is not an almighty way to win and if you dont understand what it is and how it works you go wrong. You don’t wanna know how many people are running with zerker, without knowing what precission actually does, but use just cause some told them.

Use scavenging if you’re doing dungeon runs for gold (e.g. CoF path 1 or AC with organized groups that kill the champs). The gold gain is extremely useful, but it pays itself off after a while, so keep that in mind. If you’re not planning on farming dungeons for gold, don’t get scavenging on your Berserker set. Also, keep in mind that some groups will yell at you/kick you if you do this. It’s safe to have either a spare set backup or save the codes for your set with Ruby Orbs or something.
