I’m struggling with one last step of ‘Machined Greatsword (achievement)’, the creation of the ‘Charged Greatsword Blade’.
As you can see on the attached screenshot, I have the Oiled Orichalcum Greatsword Blade and I stood right in front of a ‘Place of Power’, ie a place to earn a hero point by pawing the light pillar thing.

So, what am I doing wrong? Any constructive answer appreciated… inb4 mimimi, l2p, etc.

Hm. I don’t know if/why it would affect it, but is the blade in an invisible bag? If it is, try moving it to a “normal” bag. Also, have you tried going to a different place of power to see if it works there? If that doesn’t help, then I’m not sure what the issue is. I’d contact support.

Doesn’t work here either, that is the place where a guild mate got the achievement… also tried to put it in the 20-slot-starter bat. No avail.
Hmm… a riddle.

This might sound like a stupid question, but you have unlocked that collection, right? It’s currently active? I ask because if it’s not unlocked, that might be what’s making it not show up.

Also remove any other items that are charged at a place of power like quartz crystals from your inventory.

As was already asked do you have them in a invisible bag or any other bag that keep them from showing? If not then yeah did you activate the achievement?

I see in your screen that you’re tracking the Machined Sword achievement, not the Greatsword achievement.

Are you sure you have unlocked the Greatsword one aswell?

I know this is old, but I’m struggling with the same issue:
- Oiled Orichalcum Greatsword Blade is in visible bag
- Machined Greatsword achievement is active
- also no other items that can be charged in inventory
- tried many places of power
Any ideas?

Your screenshot shows you at a Mastery Point. You need to go to a Hero Point “place of power”. Are you sure you’ve tried a Hero Point?

Not just a hero point, but a “commune with this …” hero point. The one near the salvage pit adventure in VB is a good choice.

haha, sometimes it really isn’t plugged in, as it were. so glad I thought to add that!

I am having a problem with this. I don’t have it in an invisible bag, i don’t have anything else chargable, I’m at a “commune” HP not a MP, I have the collection unlocked, I’m just not sure what I’m doing wrong.

I can’t see the screenshot for some reason (prob my end), but doublecheck that it’s the right component. Some are easy to mix up, like sword/longsword or hilt/blade.

I can’t see the screenshot either, minilongshot. So, it’s difficult to say what the issue could be.

I found the problem, I have the mouthpiece for the warhorn and not the horn. Hopefully this works once i have the correct piece. Also the screenshot appears to be an issue on my end.
