I reported this in game as soon as it occured but I’ve never heard back on anything. I’m posting here now in hopes of getting my real book.
I did the book/scavenger quests. All the friends I did it with and then took through the quests all got the upgraded book. Mine however is still green. I never got the upgraded book mailed to me. In my ingame subbmission, I attached a screenshot of the NPC showing the completed quest text. Only thing I have to attach here are the two included screenshots. Please help!
You’re saying that the yellow books are transmutes? To put in a level 80 jewel I have to spend 5g on a backpack? Thanks guys, I was so afraid I’d missed out. Appreciate the help!
upgrades are a separate thing, should always be able to upgrade with a jewel but yes, to get a different rarity status you transmute to another back item (also to get better stats)

It has the same stats as a level 80 back brace rewarded from your personal storyline, but the Book doesn’t have a level attached to it, therefore can only have level 0 gems attached. Transmuting with the level 80 (or 60+ guild backpacks) will fix the problem.
