Does the magic find stat affect what you get when salvaging? Should I pop an omnomberry bar before salvaging rares for ectos?

And what about in WvW? Will a high magic stat affect the drop rate of Badges of Honor?

Magic Find only affects creature drops.

If so, then it would be affected by magic find, right? Or not?

I ask because I’m crap at WvW, but I need 500 badges for my legendary.

dybryd, if you’d prefer not to spend the time on normal WvW, you can always do the jumping puzzles on the maps. You can get 15 badges from each puzzle on each map every day. And do it on multiple characters.
