I have a new character that I’m currently leveling and I have been looking into potential level 80 gear. As of now, my account is far from wealthy and I’d like to put myself in a position to make money once I reach maximum level.

I’m currently wondering if its a worth while investment to build up some magic find. I’ve found some gear I can pick up from karma vendors once I reach about level 60 (a total of +28% magic find).

Will this small amount of magic find make any difference? Should I look into picking up some foods that will add to this existing percentage?

Considering the fact that MF is being removed from gear this is probably nto a good time to start investing in MF gear.

He’s talking about level 60 karma gear.

No, it’s not worth it anyway. Just level using regular gear. Food with Magic Find won’t hurt though.

You also can get 6 pieces of exotic armor practically free. Karma’s so easy to get now thanks to dailies and monthlies, just save that up. 42K karma per armor piece at any Orr temple and you’re set.

This guide http://dulfy.net/2012/09/08/gw2-templegod-karma-armor-sets/ will tell you which temple has which stats on which pieces if you want to plan it more carefully than just having level 80 exotics. The skins are the same throughout the temples. The temple does have to be open on your server; you can check an open-temple-listing site if you need to guest over to the one you want.
