Magic find vs Glass cannon

Go magic find. A full set gives roughly 250+ magic find… That’s 2.5x more likely to get rare drops!
I a level 80 Mesmer , been running all the high end instance with a 100% full exotic dps gear, sometime I would find killing a boss take forever because everyone is using magic find gear .
1: Do you think is fair , you’re doing most the DPS, as the other player is using full magic find gear trying to get rich.
2: Does magic find really work ? Some say it does , some say it don’t . what do you guys think ?
1) Magic find gear IS DPS gear… it’s the equivalent to using knights gear, so essentially what you’re saying is that i’m not doing the most DPS i’m supposed to, and not trying to get rich, so i’m just doing it wrong… seems like a pretty kittenish thing to say, especially since i’m using LESS offensive gear then knights gear, i use clerics gear (toughness, healing power, power) so where does this put me?
2) Magic find gear absolutely works, i use just a mere 20% from a lowish lv cooking and i notice significantly better drop rates, i can only wonder what it is with a full set!!

tell me something, a full berserker gear or a full magic find gear , which one would do more dps?
100% magic find simply means you’re twice as likely to get magic drops.
Only problem with MF gear, the jewel don’t have any condition and magic find together.

Clearly the one that has 3 purely offensive stats… i can’t believe you even need to ask this question… you should know by now that dps isn’t all that important.

I guess you’re not very smart are you , if you don’t know the reason why I asked that question .
If you still don’t know , the main reason is , you already point out berserker gear do more dps because of 3 purely offensive. so that also mean it would do more dps than a magic find gear . so people going in arah with a full set of MF gear and someone with a full berserker gear. so who is the one doing the most work? enough said.

If you don’t like playing with someone with MF gear, asks before joining a party, and don’t group with them. And while you’re at it, develop a calculator for DpS and optimum rotation for professions and check if their gear/weapon choice and traits are optimized for DpS, otherwise it’s not fair to you!
Get an exotic Magic find set and look at the DPS difference between the two.. I barely notice it you just Crit a bit less often but damage wise it’s hardly any different and I’d rather have 180%+ MF (2 Exotics from event chests so far)
Stop moaning and thinking you’re great and just play the game like a normal person.

Probably the guy keeping you topped off with regeneration and cleansing, keeping the enemy weakened and chilled, while you mindlessly zerg them to do the damages.
