Hi everyone, i have 166/167 for this achievement.

I cant seem to find the last area, i’ve looked on the wiki of the maps for areas not needed for world completion and i just cant seem to figure it out.

anyone have anyone ideas where the location could be?

3 places come to mind either the guild puzzle in Brisban Wildlands – http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Proxemics_Lab or the 2 jumping puzlles in Mount Maelstrom – http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Cubular_Fells http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dierdre%27s_Steps

Check out this thread that someone had a while back for the same area. Possibly someone has suggested the location in there.

Actually from 3 of 5 of explorable places that i’m done with, Maguuma is the only that i didn’t complete, apparently i missed 2 zones, possibly one of them is the same as yours. That doesn’t bother me much since i wasn’t aiming for the achiev and i didn’t give a close look to the map to try to see which zones im missing, but if you search for a full explored Maguuma map on google won’t you be able to check what you are missing? Just pay attention to all the ‘white names’ to confirm you have them all; or there are zones that don’t show up on the map with a white name?

Try this link as it has the names of the areas needed. Compare those to what you have uncovered on the map. When I did it I ended up printing out the list and checking them off to figure it out.

The one that eluded me forever in Maguuma was in Sparkfly Fen, east side, Serpentwind Caverns or something of that sort. It’s a long north-south brown blur on your map until you go into the cave in the mountain’s middle, but the blur just looks like a brown mountain, not a fogged area, so I never knew it was there until someone helpfully compared all my discovered areas to theirs.

I recently got this achievement by googling for maguuma explorer and found several lists of often missed areas. The 3 I was missing were: Aurora’s Remains (south along western edge) in Brisban Wildlands, and Cubular Fells (NW corner) and Magmatic Conjury (west near southern edge) in Mount Maelstrom. There are a couple in Metrica Province that are often missed: Calx’s Hideout (SE corner) and The Serpentwind (north and west of Calx’s Hideout).

I believe the Chantry of Secrets is also part of Maguuman Explorer and it has a PoI

Chantry is part of Bloodtide Coast which is part of Kryta.

I’ll today finish 3 explorer achievements where i missed 2areas. While for Maguuma and Orr i know which 2areas those could be i have no idea for the Shiverpeaks, since this char is a Norn and those maps were the ones i did at first so i don’t remember at this point.. is there a similar list for Shiverpeaks often missed areas as well?

Just got it, was missing the mini dungeon in Dredgehaunt cliffs and the JP in Lornar’s Pass.
