Guild Wars 2

I am trying to find a place to kill Veterans in Maguuma for my daily. Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Tears of Itlaocol is a minidungeon in the Caledon Forest. Every mob in there is a veteran, plus you get an achievement for going through it the first time. Here’s the link to the wiki page: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Tears_of_Itlaocol

Decent idea, or you could just go to the Twilight Arbor waypoint and there are 4 veteran mosshearts that you can kill one by one where the Jungle Wurm spawns

personally I like going to Thaumanova Reactor.
1 Vet ice elemental in cold room
1 Vet crab in water room
high chance of 1 Veteran Rotting Oakheart in poison room
especially good when you also get Kill Variety
high chance of Fire Elemental event

remember you can look in both the Asura and Sylvari areas for vet when Maguuma is list in the dailies.

For Sylvari area. I head to a skritt vet north of the crafting village, a wid rider by the skill point to in the bottom left of the map. A hylek chief south of the swamp worm and then there are the mosshearts around there as well

I go see if the Keeper of the Waves is up in Gauntlet Gulch in Mount Maelstrom. It’s a vet and defeating it opens a portal to Dierdre’s Steps which has a few Vet Earth Elementals there.

If the Keeper isn’t up then there are a couple of Vet Jungle Spiders with their posses roaming near where the Keeper would have roamed as well as a vet mossheart (I don’t go after them since they are neutral but sometimes they accidentally get caught up in my AoEs and if they are going to attack me anyway…).

There should be a veteran moa near the keeper as well as a veteran wind rider not far to the east. To the south there are 3 veteran skelks, a veteran boar and a veteran jungle troll. That is all along with several mature/verdant herb nodes plus the artichoke patch.

Still relevant info :p I like mount maelstrom due to 2 world bosses and lots of mithril etc.
