Can anyone give me hints what is the fastest way to make gold in Guild wars 2 (legal way, like crafting etc…)

Seriously though, I craft and sell wanted armor sets. Not sure if it’s the most effective way, but it’s getting the job done for now.

I pick up any materials in sight, every once in a while I sell all the items I don’t need.
Usually it’s only a few copper per item, but it adds up, for hardly doing anything, not to mention you need like 20 gatherings anyways for daily achievement.

that’s the response youll get from most people with commander, T3 armor and legendaries.

The best way I found is simply to farm cursed shore events, can get multiple rares and even if I just get greens and blues i sell to the trader to quickly build up a stack of gold.
I work full time and just do this most nights after work for 1-2 hours and get an average of 2-3 gold a night. Im now just purchased my 3rd piece of tier 3 armor, it really doesn’t take long to build up your money once your lvl 80. Hope this helps

Get lucky with dye packs. Abyss, black, blood and white, my friend.

Fastest legit way? Buy gems with real money, convert them to gold. The conversion is right around the 30-35 silver per dollar I think.

So, If you have a good job, and just pick up an extra hour of overtime, you can make like 20 gold in an hour. Lol…Though, that’s less efficient if you only make minimum wage, at only like 3-4 gold an hour. Though that’s still pretty quick.

The only thing that even remotely competes with having a good RL job, and buying gems, is playing the TP. But that in and of itself becomes a job.

Beyond pure dumb lucky drops, your best bet beyond that will be doing events and gathering, mostly in Orr. You can get 1-3 gold an hour depending on your personal efficiency at it.

Easiest way is to NOT take part in the crafting system and sell all the materials you find on the Trading Post. I had 2 gold by level 20, 10 by level 40. and that was with buying a new set of armor/weapons every 5 levels.
