Ok, so last time I played the frostgorge train was in full swing on deso.

Now I am looking around and struggling to find anywhere that makes gold as fast…

I heard about the silverwastes, but after an hour of trying to figure out what was where etc, I made 1 gold…

Anyone got any tips on how to make a solid gold income in game right now?

Dungeons and the occasional flipping items on the trading post is how I tend to get my money.

All I do is salvage everything I don’t need, eventually the materials reach the stock limit and then start selling them.

Any Rare weapons and armour I don’t need/can’t use I sell which are around 20-30 silver a piece. I went from 2 gold to 30 gold after spending about 20 gold already haha.

The FGS train has migrated to Silverwastes and evolved to the SW Chest Train.

Step 1: Pick one of 4 forts (i.e. Red, Blue, Indigo or Amber) to defend.

Step 2: Do the defend events, escort Supply Dolyaks, kill Modrem Champions during the Breach events, and complete the final Vinewrath event. These will award you Bandit Crests and occasionally Shovels.

Step 3: Spend your Bandit Crests on either Bandit Skeleton Keys or Stolen Loot Bags. The former is used to open Lost Bandit Chests that are unearthed throughout the SW map using the aforementioned shovels. The Lost Bandit Chest contains 1 Champ Loot bag, 1+ silver and some other junk, including cloth. The latter can either be sold on the TP or opened for the T5 and T6 maths.

Step 4: Once you have a decent stack of Shovels and Bandit Skeleton Keys, put up an LFG along the lines of “SW Chest Farm” to bring in more people (hopefully with Shovels of their own) and run around SW digging up chests.

Optional: You can run the Labyrinth after the Vinewrath event for Nightmare Keys that will allow you to open a chest containing 2-3 Champ Loot Bags.

Ojimaru’s advice is spot on for silverwastes, although in my opinion mind numbingly boring. For me dungeons are the way to go, there’s a goal beyond just money making which still keeps it interesting for me and that is efficiency. You can play with the goal to get better at your class rotations, stacking might and vulnerable on bosses etc etc.

When I’m short on time I like to run CoF p1, AC p1/2, SE p1/3, and TA up/fwd. That Nets you close to 10g pure cash and tokens. It takes anywhere from 60-90mins depending on PUG quality.
