Guild Wars 2

Is there some place where we can manually download patches and updates? I have faster net at university and I would like if I could download content here and then just install it home.

If you can install the game at the university, update the game there and copy the files to a usb drive specially the *.dat file which is the biggest part of the game, take it home and overwrite the files easy as pie.

or just install the game (or rather copy your current game folder) on a reasonably fast external harddisk (not a cheap 5400 rpm one, at least 7200 or even better ssd) and preferrably usb3 or e-sata you can start it from the drive and won’t even notice it’s not an internal harddisk. and you can just plug it in wherever you have the best internet connection to patch it =)
also, you won’t have to copy the files over and back again and again for every patch.

I don’t have such hard drive so I’ll just copy files around. My net is not slow but downloading anything bigger then 500mgb takes around 30+ min and on University it would take 5 xD

Oh lucky you. I have been downloading 2,300 MB(Plus 15,000 files more.) for 6 hours. Well this is first time updating so I can understand that.
