Manually reenabling 32 bit?
1. Right-click on your gw2 shortcut and select “Properties.”
2. In the “Target” box go to the end of what is written in there, put a space then “-32” (without quotation marks) at the end.
make sure it looks something like this: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe” -32
3. Click “Ok” to save your changes.
If you get an error trying to save, your target line may not have the correct format. Check you did everything in step 2.
4. Run the game with the shortcut. This might cause the client to re-download the game, but after it has done that it will be the 32 bit client.
hope that helps.

(Edit: sry, said something dumb here I guess)
Furthermore it did not redownload anything, which could either mean it didnt work (bad) or that the game was already running in 32 (even worse, cause that would mean there is no solution to my problem but hoping for Anet to fix it)
Well. Ill see how it works. Thanks for the help so far.

sometimes it does re-download, sometimes not. no real reason why, so thought I’d add that part just in case.
if you’re not sure which version is running. open the windows task manager while you’re running the game. 32 bit version will say it’s 32 bit, either in brackets, or *32 in the listing. the 64 bit version is just listed as the normal guild wars 2 game client.
