Q:
Map Completion when all areas say 100%
A:
I can only advice to check all maps again.
In the new update they added ability to check map completion of zone without going there. Just go to world map, zoom a little and hold cursor over zone name.
As for WvW you have to go to each of them and check map. It’s important to go to every borderland and eternal when doing so, not just checking them on map from another.
For example i have one missing POI and Vista in Rings of Fire Borderlands, but when i’m checking the map from underworld borderland, they’re invisible and it looks like i have 100% completion there. Except skill point you don’t see undiscovered PoI and Vistas when viewing from other borderlands.
Point of interest could be any city as people forget something there mostly and you still need two skill points and vista’s so check your map again to see where. And don’t look at the % but at the number of skillpoints completed or vista’s whatever.
yea ive looked at all the individual totals of all maps and they all say ive completed everything… it didnt make sense to me either.
I’m currently going through each area making sure ive found all areas within the map, even though that doesnt count towards map complete its one less thing it could be!
Do you know of any other hidden areas like order of whispers?
None. Order of whispers are the only hidden area (well there is also Claw Island from personal quest but there are only POIs there). Since you missing 2 skill points it’s not city. I would check WvW since it’s easy to miss sth with changing battlegrounds. Checked in game and like in PvE map you can simply go to any borderland, press “m” to view map, and move cursor over each 4 map names to see if you have 100% completion and golden frame.
Turns out I had the same problem…also turns out that Divinity’s Reach doesn’t show up on the quick overview and that’s where my 2 vistas were.
