Is there any benefit to total map exploration? I have like 65% and see no ppoint besides the chest in each are that is level specific gear.. Is there anything else like an ultimate chest?

100% world completion gets you 2 Gifts of Exploration (required for legendaries), a star next to your name, a title and a badge on the login screen.

There’s also the fact that if you haven’t been around the whole map you’ve probably missed content, particularly hearts and DE’s. But if you’re not enjoying doing it then that’s probably not a big loss to you.

you get gift of exploration (only way to get it), which can be used to (eventually) make legendary weapons. if you are not interested in gaining a legendary, then you don’t really need to do world completion.
