Hi guys, i would like to get married to someone in my guild and make it an RP event! For this i would need a location. Does anyone have any idea for places for a wedding to take place aswell as a honeymoon! Thanks in advance

I read this and suddenly I understood exactly why legendaries have such “odd” effects. They expected player marriages…

On-topic, I agree with The Grove comment for the wedding host. There are far too few “pretty” places. Reception should be held in Hoelbrak’s Great Hall as this is the main meeting area for most large-scale parties (that I’ve been to anyway).

Honeymoon…I’d say Caledon Forest – Caer Verdant POI, top of the tree tower. It has a great view of the overlooking area and there are no mobs to get aggro’ed and the NPCs are too far down to spy.

Depends what kind of players you are.

If you are the general kind – Go to ’The Grove" where it is a boring place with more flowers than a cemetary, water hazards everywhere (particulalry the waterfalls), a priest that looks like he was in the sun too long and is peeling bark, and a tree that looks like it could use some watering using a fat burning solution.

BUT

If you are the daring, spontaneous and adventurous kind – Go to ‘Gates of Arah’ where your bride will make the longest walk down the isle ever, filled with beautiful sculptures, lots of people that just want to “hug” you for good luck, magnificent arch structures, and electrifying atmosphere. Oh and did I mention its a temple of the gods?

Trust me, this wedding will be one that you will never forget.

I agree with these guys. Alternatively I’d go for a cliff or mountainside in Lornar’s pass or Wayfarer Foothills for the epic scenery, or for RP purposes somewhere in your home city.

For a honeymoon I think it should be something your characters would enjoy. For my main for example it’d probably be an epic “camping”/hunting trip down Timberline Falls.

Make sure someone brings The Moot for the first dance!

I’ll bring some of my friends to attend and I’ll be on my formal attire Oh yea, the time too and when the place is settled, TELL US!

I watched a RP Wedding in Divinity’s Reach some time back. Under the circular columns that lead to the Vista. In front of the Goddess statue. Was a nice setting there amongst the trees and columns. And a well acted ceremony.

Just a passerby stopping to watch….
