Hello everyone,

I want to complete my Tyria Mastery Trees and collect Mastery Points. I saw in the wiki that the Hero achievements contain 25 Mastery Points, but the wiki says I can only obtain 11 Mastery Points from it.

Is that true? I don’t understand the explanation from them:

“Note that for the Hero achievements, a mastery point is only awarded the first time a player completes the personal story arc for that level (25 achievements, from which 11 points are obtainable).”

Does it mean if I have 11 Points I can’t obtain any other Mastery Points anymore? If thats so, why are there even 25 Points listed?

I ran into this confusion trying to get a mastery point the other day. How I believe it works, and I could be mistaken, is that certain levels of the personal story give a mastery point. Like the level 20 personal story for example. So if you have done the level 20 personal story on a human and then go and do it on a Norn you won’t get another mastery point. Like in my case, I completed the entire personal story with a human character. So if I do the personal story on a Norn I will not get any more mastery points for doing personal story.

You can still obtain other mastery points from other parts of Tyria, just not from personal story arcs.

We have 3×1 Personal Story points, 1 Order Point (only 1 of 3 get the point), 4 Dragon story and 3 general points on this tab = 11

I had hopes that the hero achievments could make it a bit easier to me.

I feel sad now.

The personal story is divided into 8 chapters. Completion of each chapter gives 1 point per account.

You only get the hero mastery points the first time you complete the personal story. I recently completed the Pact Commander mastery which requires 8 MPs. I ended up getting lucky with the Silverwastes legendary mobs (5 MP total). I also did the Retrospective Runaround JP, Hidden Garden JP & Lion’s Arch Exterminator.
