Material Locations (Gandara)
I’m a little confused.
As an example, I’m on HoD server. When I go to FG I seem to land on one of two maps, judging by the node layouts. Are all the NA players also on these 2 maps or do they have their own set of maps based on which home server they are on? If it’s based on home server then only Gandara people and the servers who share those map versions can use your node maps.
Not that it’s not a nice try. I’m just wondering how many can use it.
Edit: spelling

I’m not rly know how megaserver works on Orr. But I think Ori locations are different for other servers. But if this locations is on other servers than this maps will help them
I’m homed on Gandara, so will have a look at this tonight
If you play on EU servers, the best you can do now is to cycle through Server with different languages in hope to get into another specific zone.
Personally i play on Drakkar Lake (DE) and normally use now Desolation (EN) and Fort Ranik (FR) for guesting.
However it could still happen that you must relog 2-3 times if you know there is a zone where you found your Ori on your last character but you don’t get again in that zone.
Last night for example there was a good layout in Frostgorge when i tried Desolation, however at my 4th character i didn’t came into that zone. Then i tried Fort Ranik and suddenly was again in the old Desolation Zone.
The whole system is still very strange
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.
It’s going and going I hope this maps help some of you
Sorry to break it to you, but material node maps are useless now. Since there are no longer any Servers specific instances, you can’t tell what map you are in nor can you selectively change to any specific map (at least EU players can “change” to a different language map….NA players can only zone in and out and hope for a change).
In some respects it kind of sucks that you can’t farm nodes on multiple characters as efficiently as before, but it does make gathering more of a challenge than a chore.
Fate is just the weight of circumstances

The language specific servers do not make much of a difference. Since they added the option to filter based on client language it implies that people using different languages and the different language servers are getting mixed anyway.
For personal use, you can make your own notes on where the nodes are and label this with the IP which you can get from chat using /IP.
I was farming FG today on my level 80s. Using /IP I found there were 3 shards I was being sent to. After I found the nodes on each shard, when I mapped in I could use /IP to see which I was on and use those notes.
If the shards remain the same from one day to the next that will help.
When I gather yesterday i have Malchor’s Leap from Fourth Map and Cursed Shore from “main” map for all the time. Little strange
Like for me looking for materials is not a challenge, it’s more annoying but I’m doing it fast like before update to megaserver.

Sure you can make notes, but there is no garantee that the next time you Enter or Load into that zone it will be the same map with those noted nodes (even if you load a character you LEFT in that zone).
I has become nearly a pointless effort (especially if it is a popular zone like Frostgorge).
Only real way to help is call out nodes as you find them in Map Chat.

I’m going to check today to see if it’s the same set of of 3 or 4 maps or not. If it is the same set then keeping notes for each IP is better then nothing.
So I can say that yesterday I was have on all 7 characters (except Guardian on Frostgorge Sound) locations from map 3 (which was update).
I will update this maps so check them every day
Update: Today I was have materials from map number 3

Because of event Festival of the Four Winds gathering metarials are now easily. Use my First Map to know locations of Cursed Shore and Second Map to know location of Malchor’s Leap. I have on all characters the same locations.
Have Fun
