Guild Wars 2

I have world map completion on two characters, all mini dungeons, jumping puzzles, and dives complete, yet in the exploration tab, I have only 71/73 areas in Meguuma. And so I began to wonder, what area wouldn’t at least have a single point of interest in it, and for that matter, without that or any other of the map markings, then what is the point of the area in the first place? Furthermore, if there is no indication of the areas existence, if there is no need to go there for a JP/MiniDungeon/Map completion or otherwise, then how am I supposed to find it?

I know this isn’t much to go off of, but can anyone suggest what I may have missed? I didn’t attend winter-fest, and I had yet to buy the game during the Mad king event… perhaps they had maps in Meguuma territory? Or perhaps its guild JPs; as mine does not have enough points, I have never done one, so maybe they have areas that are included in exploration? Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

Use the wiki to look at the maps (with the rasterlines) in the Maguuma Jungle, it’s very easy to find the missing “unfogged” areas that way.
I found all of them before the wiki had them by simply studying the World Map in a little more detail and guessing what could be explored (most maps resemble a somewhat square so a good guess is looking at the ones that have an odd shape).

I’m missing /one/ this area too and am hoping to find some tips on where to look myself.

I haven’t had much luck eyeballing things. Just sitting on that one last spot like I’ve been for months. The new achievement ‘so close’ thingy is making my eyeballs itch every time I see it.

I would suggest you to check at the wiki pages of Maguuma’s maps. It is not required to “look” at the map or compared it to your own in order to figured out what you missed. In the wiki’s description page of each map you will find a table with a list of its sub-areas and what content they host. Search for sub-areas having only jps or mini dungeons (in case you missed some of them) but, more importantly, look for sub-areas having no content at all (they will display “-” in content. list). Look at their location in map and travel there to “uncover” them.

Thanks, I used the wiki and examined the subdivisions to see what I was missing. One of them actually was a guild puzzle… you don’t have to do it, just get close enough to uncover its area.
