Hey guys

Is there any way to tell when a meta event is going to start? I know that Guild Wars Temple have timers for some of the World Bosses, but I can’t seem to find timers for lesser events like “Devouring the Brand”, but somehow, whenever I stumble upon a random meta event, there are already a huge flock of players there. Am I missing out on something crucial here?

As you said, with the exception of Word Bosses it’s not possible to track a single meta-event inside the megaserver system (btw they’re so many that maybe it’ll be impractical)

What you have seen it’s probably people “jumping” from an event to the next for the daily reward. It requires 100% of that map complete (or that the event is inside the explored area) but if you pick “Disable personal history” under the options for content guide it should point to the closest event in progress

Maybe you should have read what he wrote, he was looking for META event timers.
Also, there is no need to rely on “3rd party” that are always a security risk when you can just use the /wiki world boss command ingame.
