Migraine Achievement
The other way to get the viper amulet (I think) is raiding. You could try that.
My husband and I haven’t done this achi yet either. Do you still need it? If you’re on EU servers, send us a PM, we can arrange giving it a go. I’m sure my guild mates will make up the numbers if needed too. In any case, happy to give it a go

I also require this. I’m not the world’s greatest player, but my tanky warrior might be of some use if a team is being put together.
EU/UK player
Same issue for me. I didn’t realize it’d be such a nightmare to do and now trying to get anyone is borderline impossible. I’m in NA but on a lot throughout the day, so just whisper/mail me if you’d like to try it!
Awesome, well I’m def up for it with you guys anytime. Aside from a couple minor pc issues I’m usually online most afternoons and pretty much every evening LOL feel free to pm

I already have this but if you need help, I might be helpful – EU. Also, I suggest checking out videos on this achiev on youtube, so you are prepared for the boss rotations. The difficulty is kind of like a raid prequel
It’s not that bad. You just need enough DPS to continuously burst down Garm fast enough that Eir doesn’t get to use her fire arrow volley. You just swap between Garm and her until she’s defeated. You may even get lucky and she bugs preventing her from leaving her stunned state.
For Canach, it’s best to have people that are capable of breaking his breakbar. You can go the conditions route but it just takes longer. Having a ranged weapon would help too in case you find yourself unable to handle fighting in melee.
There’s nothing special about the Mordremoth fight. One tip that I will add is to make sure you’re on the NE part of the map when he does his roar to signal the glider phase. This will set you up to be able to fly up to the tree branch.
If the breakbar bugs for him at the end, and the channeling the rift doesn’t break it, you all will have to break the bar yourselves. Be prepared for this.
I need to do this as well – tried it with a group the other day – after being the last one standing eight times in a row in the Eir/Garm fight when my allies couldn’t get the concept of not standing still in fire I had to give it up.
But if anyone needs a 5th I’m on EU.
All you EU peeps are great, but I’m on NA. I’ve got finals this week so I won’t be able to play for a while adding to my frustration, but I really do feel like this is a problem. The fight is doable, but finding people for this achievement is so frustratingly rare. I’ve used both achievement and heart of thorns lfg twice each before timing out and couldn’t get a single person interested. I feel like I have an easier time getting a 10 man raid organized.
Edit: Finally got a group of randoms to try it. However their skill and equipment didn’t seem up to par for the challenge. The fight didn’t seem difficult like T4 fractals but the only ones interested in the amulet seem to be casuals who just want to do the achievement. I think I’ll give up on the achievement and just grind out raids for my vipers gear. It’s unfortunate to think that most condi builds are gated by ridiculous bars when I could just go out and get a set of berserker gear so easily.

You forgot the hoard phase now has unblockable damage. You’ll need to dodge the red circle as it expands out, and if you’re doing this with others you’ll need to spread out.
I’ve actually gotten a group all through LFG for this achievement a few days ago (EU). Our party composition was:
1 Engi, 1 DH, 1 Berserker, 1 Ranger and 1 Herald.
I’d say Eir is the hardest phase. You got 2 options to clear this. The first one is to break her bar and with a good group you can get her down by half in one burn. Second method is to leave the major dps for Garm everytime. The focus here is to bring Garm down everytime fast enough that Eir doesn’t start the Fire AoE that people usually wipe on (this is how we did it after 2 tries).
If you manage to finish Eir you’ll probably be safe for the rest of the fights. Canach is pretty much a ‘run circle, dodge and kill the blue bar fight, that doesn’t really bring much challenge compared to Eir.
Mordry has a few tricks extra in it sleeves. But nothing that you can’t overcome with teamwork if you managed to finish Eir. Good luck!
EDIT: Be sure to check both the HoT story as the Achievement Hunters one in LFG, people seem to post at both for this.

Agreed that Blighted Eir is the toughest part of the entire mission (assuming you don’t take the Blighted Pale Tree route). If your party doesn’t have enough DPS to burst Garm down fast enough, an alternative (but much slower) strategy is to instead ignore Garm altogether and just kite him around while everybody ranges Eir. You will need to keep moving AND make sure that everybody has good condi removal and/or access to Resistance, because if you get crippled Eir’s burning will absolutely murder you in seconds. (You can, of course, also turn this to your advantage with condi transferral skills or sigils.)
The Adrenal Mushrooms mastery is an immense help for this achievement. Take full advantage of it to recharge your long cooldown skills. A Warrior, for example, should bring Berzerker Stance (immensely long-lasting Resistance) for a panic button, and Battle Standard for rezzing teammates who get downed. Once used, use the Adrenal Mushroom to recharge them for the next emergency.
