Guild Wars 2

I just started playing, was lvling with a friend and he was able to see those Skill Point quest, blue arrows, on his mini map. Even after walking up to and completing the Skill Point quest at no point in time did the blue arrow pop up on my mini map. I don’t see mini map options anywhere so I’m not sure how to fix this.

in the map screen (press m) look for the little eye icon at the bottom left. click that and make sure everything is ticked.

Ok so on my friends game, on the world completion tick box, Skill Challenges falls under that. Mine does not, it only includes Vistas, renown hearts and points of interest. What am I doing wrong here?

what level are you (yes that’s a big thing)? if you’re below level 13 (or 15, I forget which), that will be why they’re missing.

Yes only lvl 11. That seems silly to me since there is a skill challenge around lvl 5. What is the point of keeping that from new players till lvl 13. If its a hand holding thing or mechanic to avoid overwhelming new players there needs to be an option to turn it off, this isn’t my first MMO.

Um… are you in a capital city? Capital cities don’t have skill point challenges.

Um… no, if my friend could see it and I couldn’t then obviously we were somewhere a Skill Challenge was present. Hence the leveling. Its most likely what Notts said, about low lvls not having the option yet.
