Guild Wars 2

I couldn’t find anything on the forums about this, so I was hoping someone here could give me a hand.

I’m looking for a way to stop the minimap from rotating when i turn (preferably), or barring that, a way to turn the minimap off completely.

I’ve been through all of the options multiple times, but haven’t found anything remotely helpful. With any luck I just missed an option somewhere.

there is a little icon i think its on the left of the mini map which fixes it on north, therefore stopping rotation.

Cant check exactly where at present as away from my gaming pc, but its there somewhere

Ahh. thank you. I looked at the icons on the minimap before but never found it. After your suggestion I kept playing around with the minimap until I found it. As it turns out, it is the same icon as the “pan to character” icon, and only changes to the “rotation” icon once you’ve panned to your character.
