Q:

So I just recently realized that minor runes are waaaay better than the pebbles. I was looking through the condition boosting miner runes and saw that Minor rune Krait was functionally the same a Minor rune of the afflicted. One cost almost twice as much as the other and I couldn’t figure out why. They also seem to be the only two different minor runes that have the same stats. +11 condition damage +5% bleed duration.

The minor runes only have two abilities… I bought two of each, but now I wonder if I should have bought four of the cheaper one. After you unlock all of a runes abilities, do additional runes of the same name stack fully, or do extra copies just uselessly occupy slots on your equipment, without adding anything?

I didn’t see any tabs in the player interface to let me look at my total condition damage, I only saw the basic stats; toughness, power, precision, ect. Is there a command I can use to see my condition damage score?

As far as I know, Runes don’t stack, so your best bet is to go two of each if thats what you want to do.

If you hover over your attack stat (I think that is what it is called…. Power+Weapon) it should show you your condition damage as well.

Krait runes can be crafted, and I believe that Afflicted runes cannot. This, coupled with people not knowing about the alternative, likely leads to the price disparity.

Having more than 2 of a minor rune gains you nothing. It is a set bonus, not a per-rune bonus.

After some thought; If I only care about condition damage I should just get six different runes that each add +11 condition damage as the first effect. By pairing three different runes I get the secondary effects, but limit myself to +33 condition damage on six armor slots; when I could have +66 condition damage on six armor slots without secondary effects… assuming there are six different runes that give +11 condition damage…

Yes, exactly.

I just want to add though (If you even check back here), that once you start using Major but especially superior Runes, sets really start to be better than 6 individual runes. So you’ll really need to shop around and see what combination works best for you.

Why grind dungeons? Only relevant content…
Why? Gives needed gear…
Why do you need this gear? To do dungeons… duh.
