I just purchased GW2 today and got all my items from the mail. However…I’m baffled as to where to look to find the Mistfire elite skill. I purposely bought the deluxe version just so I could get that pet.

I saw it in my email and clicked Take All. Everything ended up in my inventory except the Mistfire. Where do I look to find it?

You need to be level 30 to get it.

It’s an elite skill and those are unlocked at 30.

It’s not an item, it’s a skill.

If you open up the Hero panel (sword and shield icon, top right) then go to the Skills and Traits tab (square and hexagon icon) you’ll see it on your list.

Because it’s an elite skill you can’t use it until you’re level 30, but it will be unlocked already so you won’t need to save up skill points to use it. Which is good because the other elites cost 10 points each so you either need to go without new skills for a few levels before or save up afterwards to get them.
