One of the components for Mistward armor is obtained through killing Son of Svanir enemy. I have killed this foe in 4 different locations, concentrating on event spawns (such as the Frozen Maw. So far, no collection drop. Before I made a support ticket I thought I would ask if it is usual to have to kill lots of foes to get these items? So far I haven’t had to wait for any of them, so it seems unusual that there would be an item that required you to kill numerous foes like it was an RNG item. I was just wondering if the general experience tended to be quick, or am I being impatient?

It is an RNG item. Just be patient, it will drop for you.

Thanks, as long as I know Im not bugged I can be patient. I don’t even know what stats I am going to use with it at this point anyways.

There are not very many Sons of Svanir at Frozen Maw actually. Only the Shaman himself and the veteran guards. Also a few in the gave on the way but even getting a tag on them is hard. Corrupted elementals are Icebrood and Grawl are Grawl.

There are quite a few of those deluded fellows guarding a daily chest up from Krennak’s. And if you want to make it easy there are lots of Svanir at the start of Wayfarer.

It seems to have relatively low drop rate for sure. I remember killing 100~ savnir before getting it, not bugged just a bit on the rare side.
