Hey people!

I am karma farming at the minute to buy the exotic armor from the priests around the ruins of Orr, because its so expensive I dont want to waste the karma on gear that is sub optimal so I am putting this question out there for all you theory crafters (is that even right?) to help me pick the best set.

I am mainly looking to play sword and board with this set in dungeons primarily as I have a greatsword set which I use for events.

Does anyone know which pieces would make the best choice? I really want to make the best set so I would assume mixing up the stats from gear would be more beneficial than just going with one set of gear.

Any help on this would be appreciated!

Getting one set will apply all the insignias that are attached to that set to the max level.

For example: if you get 3 pieces of Grenth, and 3 pieces of Melandru, the stats will only go up to the 3rd level of the insignias attached so you won’t be getting the full benefit of either set of armor.

In regards to which set to get, here is a helpful breakdown of each sets stats:

Ah thanks for the reply but I dont think you understood what I meant (or maybe my post wasnt clear). The runes you can buy from the TP so they arent an issue, I use that website to look at the core stats the gear has and thats where I am a little stumped! I am unsure on whether to go full precision, condition dmg and toughness gear or mix and match for the best possible stat outcome, say for instance some bits of healing, power and vit gear too, I think I read on another post that a general rule of thumb was 1 toughness = 10 vit or something?

What I was thinking was getting the chest and legs as my core stats as they offer considerably more stat points than the other pieces, then getting feet and helm with different stats, maybe the next most beneficial points and then finally the shoulders and gloves with the least benefits?

This set is going to be my dungeon set so I need toughness, healing and vit for survivabilty.
