Money problem
Running dungeon paths is my preferred way of making gold and karma. At your level, I would recommend checking out TA and doing all 3 paths daily.
If you’re lucky like me, a Nightmare Coil Recipe will drop. Then you’ll be making bank each time you get 200 TA dungeon tokens.
Another dungeon I like to run at 65 is SE. Two of the paths in SE are ran fairly commonly and are pretty straightforward.

If you’re making a gold a day and you’re poor, the problem isn’t with under-earning, it’s probably with over-spending.
What are you spending all your money on?
Northern Shiverpeaks
Generally I make money just by not spending it. Doing DEs which are in my path and aren’t involving champions generally feed me a bit but . . .
- Throttle back spending as much as you can.
- If you see a rune/sigil in a piece of gear which drops, check it’s value on the trading post. You can make a lot if you can salvage it out.
- Sell your blue items instead of breaking them down. They should be approaching about 50-75 copper in value at your level.
- If you’re not ever planning on crafting, liquidate your crafting materials. Related? Always spend on gathering tools and gather materials to sell.
Try not selling stuff on the TP at the prices shown when you go to the sell tab. Use the “buy more” right click to see how others are pricing that item. If you set reasonable prices, but not the lowest price your earnings can be increased appreciably.

that only works for low-volume trades like exotics or refined materials.
But commodities like crafting t1-t6’s move quickly and it’s easier to just sell it at the lowest price.

Yeh but what about getting lvl 80 before seeking money?
Hmm, quote didn’t work too well for me lol.

I have made great gains selling tier 1 and tier 2 mats that are easy to farm in volume. I’m just patient. Sometimes they’ll accumulate at my set sell price for a few weeks, but they do always sell, and when they do sometimes it’s in the thousands of that item. Trick is to not price them too high.
Patience pays in selling anything. (and I’m talking about getting double or tripple the return of if I’d sold fast)

Granted I play fairly casually, but a gold a day for normal play seems pretty decent to me! I usually make a little bonus if I go through dungeons, and you can make a good amount selling rare/exotic items on the trading post if you get lucky drops you don’t want – play in high level areas or, for a guaranteed exotic, 100% clear level 70-80 maps and consider selling the rewards.
Overall though, the idea is not to be rolling in gold when you hit max level. If you stick to just everyday play, you will need to save up for the nice stuff. Luckily, there are a number of alternate currencies in the game (karma, laurels, etc) with which you can also buy stuff if you want to save your gold!
Try the new AC! Did all 3 paths after the patch. Came out with around 2g. I usually don’t pay attention but that time I just bought 2 golds’ worth of Influence before starting and after doing the 3 paths I had more gold than before I bought the Influence.
