Monthly Master Crafter for Chefs
I dont belive your able to do this as chef, nothing material wise nor final product wise is mastercraft(ie green rarity). The plus side is if you dont mind doing another profession alongside chef, like jewler that has plenty of master craft in it.
I personally recommend doing it on tailor/leatherworker/armorsmith, since it count the creation of the mastercraft insignia, as well as the final craft of whatever armor parts you make.

Trays and feasts?
edit:
Yep made 20 Trays of pumpkin pies for a whopping 6 silvers total cost to buy 200 pumpkin pies off the trade post. Gave me credit for 50% of the monthly master crafter.
Also There are some masterwork dyes, but the component costs are a bit too high for me to make 40 of them. They seem to use karma bought components heavily.
/off to do the rest of them.
//already had the forge recipe so it may be more expensive for you if you don’t have any feast recipes yet

Yeah pretty sure some dyes count as masterwork, so give that a shot

Another possibility is to take one of the weapon crafting professions (Weaponsmith, Huntsman, Artificer) and make the dowels for masterwork inscriptions. No need for fine crafting materials, just make <Metal> Plated Dowels, available at 50, 125, 200, 275, 350 and 400 skill. And if you make the Mithril or Orichalcum dowels, you can save them and make rares or exotics later on.
