Guild Wars 2

I have a question, I went to try Morgan’s leap jumping puzzle but noticed the vine instead of being all green was wilted and the rock once I was finally able to get onto it was too far from the next rock to jump even with speed boost. Is there a timer on this as to when the puzzle can be done or not? Or did they change it to make a very difficult puzzle even harder to do?

As far as I know, it has always been tied to a dynamic event in the area. I assume at some point the DE failed, and until it can be triggered and won, the vine will stay like this. I’m sure someone will come up with further explanation.
