Guild Wars 2

I like casters. I have always played a caster in my previous MMO exploits. I have a low level elementalist currently and am wondering from the more experienced players the best set up for ranged with this guy, such as weapon style and skills.

staff is the long range AOE option of the class

Elementalists suffers a lot from low health and armor, so you probably want a really long-range setup if you like the standard cookie cutter. Staff is for you.
Personally I love my dual dagger earth/bleed build. Requires melee range though, so I really have to spam my dodge.

Staff = Siege/Zerg weapon(Aoe/extreme long range as specified earlier.)
Dagger= Magical Melee, close range, with extreme mobility. Most of the damage is dot based however.
