Guild Wars 2

I am attempting to find the skill point in southern Mount Maelstrom, just East of the Stychs.

I have looked online for some help and I’ve run around in-game for the better part of an hour trying to find a way to it.

Can anyone help me out?

If I recall, that one is a fight against an unimpressed Hylek.

If your problem is not seeing the skill challenge NPC, for now, you can try transferring to another server. Unless your current home world is full, you shouldn’t have a problem returning.
I’ve done that (since the NPC was nowhere to be found on Gandara) and have finally found the NPC on Ruins of Surmia and was able to complete the challenge there.
