Guild Wars 2

I tried placing points into the three talents, and equipting the signet of air in the heart of the mists and my movespeed stayed the same. I tried entering combat, and still the same.

Yes i have a dagger equipt (In both main and offhand to be 100% sure)
Yes i have the air spec equipted

Am i doing something wrong?

The cap is 33%.

Ty for answering, but honestly it doesnt even feel 33% faster. the signet says 25% and (testing it on a staircase in heart of the mists) it took me 1 Mississippi second to run up the stairs with and without it equipted

The highest you can get with an ele is 33% increase.
Thief could go to 50% when stealthed if traited.
Engi could go up to 100% with slick shoes’ utility belt skill(for only 5 seconds with a 45 seconds cooldown).

Engi cap is 33% also, slick shoes only brings you equal to swiftness speed in or out of combat, ironically this isnt even as fast as theives in stealth.
