Guild Wars 2

Trying to move the Hero screen around and other elements so that I can see info better. Somehow (and not sure how) moved the hero screen down to far lower left and cannot move it any more. Since was on new char I tried setting to defalts and also deleted and remade a new char. This is happening on all characters, Can someone plese help? On been in the game about 2 days.

If the chat window is in the way, you can drag the chat window to the top left corner and then you might be able to get access to your hero panel again. If that doesn’t work, maybe deleting the local.dat file might delete the saved locations of all the windows and put them back into their default states. The local.dat file I think is in the install directory for GW2. (C:\Program Files\GuildWars2\Local.dat) Deleting the Local.dat file also reverts all your other settings to default.

Hmm, that’s a stumper. I would try…

1. Changing the Interface scale, this might nudge the offending window somewhere you can grab it.
2. Changing screen resolution (go lower and then back if needed), again might reposition the window where you can get to it.
