Multi sigil proc?
to of the same sigils does increase the chance to proc, but the 2nd sigil increase the chance of it to proc by that chance of the sigil (so in your case with 30% a seconds sigil of same type would increase it to 30*1.30 = 39% and not 60% as you might think, 2 different proc sigils would be sharing their cd so whichever ones happen to proc will put both of the sigils on that sigils cd
I am not sure what you mean by “same sigils”
What if I have a superior and major sigil of fire? Is that still considered as the “same sigils?” If they are treated differently, than their chances of proc would be additional and not multiplied, so it would be 30%+20%=50%?
What if I have a superior sigil of fire and lightening (using duel weapons)? Will that mean I will have 60% chances of getting a sigil effect on a crit since they are completely different sigils?
Thank you in advance for the answers. I’ve googled searched for over an hour for the answers and still haven’t found it. GW2 wiki still don’t have the info updated on this and I tried testing it, but it takes too long to get enough trials on hits to get accurate results.
Sigils that proc on crit or swap share their cooldowns.
Sigils that increase a stat by stacking don’t stack, you can only have ONE sigil of stat increase at a time.
Sigil of Bloodlust with a Sigil of Life won’t work, only your mainhand sigil will apply. Even if you switch to another sigil later, for example after having 25 stacks of Bloodlust, switch to Life, the second sigil WILL NOT trigger, only your mainhand sigil will trigger and if it triggers once you can’t change it. Superior and Major sigils of Bloodlust won’t stack either, for the same reason.
Sigil of Battle and Sigil of Bloodlust stack, one is a swap sigil, the other is a stack sigil, you can use them together.
I’m not sure if two Sigils of Fire stack, I think they don’t but haven’t tested it. But what I’m 100% positive is that swap sigils and crit sigils share cooldowns.
For example:
Sigil of Energy (gain endurance when you swap weapons) and Sigil of Fire (30% to deal damage on critical) share cooldowns, if your fire procs you won’t get any endurance by swapping.

No. You can only have one on-crit sigil, if you have two only the one in your offhand will trigger. Easily tested in the Mists, get two weapons with different sigils (one Sigil of Air and one Sigil of Fire) and try them on the golems, only your main hand sigil will trigger. I’m positive the exact same happens if you have two of the same. There is no gain for having two sigils of the same type, they don’t stack and they share cooldowns.

Actually they do, you can certainly have more than 1 on crit chance sigils and have both of the proc on crit. I just tried it in the mist and out of the mist with a superior sigil of fire and air. Both can trigger, but just not at the same time. The fire aoe effect is obvious, but the lightening effect isn’t so obvious. You have to check the damage log, it will tell you. The damage from the lightening strike is bout 15% more than the damage from the fire.
The question that remains is if whether or not the chances are equal in procting. I had a fire sigil in my offhand axe, and a air sigil in my main hand sword and the fire sigil damage appeared most often in my damage log. Maybe if I had more runs with it the data will normalize to 50/50.
