Q:
Multiple Rune Stacking
A:
In most cases, it goes something like this:
you’re hit
you have a 5% chance to summon a bird
if that fails, you then have a 7% chance to summon a bird
if that fails, you then have a 10% chance to summon a bird
if any of them succeed, the shared cooldown is activated, and none of them can succeed again for 10s.
so, if you have 2 each of all 3 levels, it’s an overall 20.485% chance to summon a bird, but that’s the only benefit. I get 20.485% by: 5% + (7% * (100% – 5%)) + (10% * (100% – (7% * (100% – 5%))) ) because it’s 7% chance of the part that failed from the 5%, not 5%+7%.

I’d assume it’s three separate chances (1 roll at the respective chance for each rune). seeing how they set up cooldowns though, I’m almost certain the 10s cooldown would be shared, so you still wouldn’t be able to spam it.

its not about spamming it, its about getting more chances to procreate it. 3 chances for it to take place are better than 1, tho some would argue a rune set would be better.
As far as I know almost all runes/sigils that have a proc effect have an internal cooldown. As for chance to proc, I think only the higher chance for the same effect would count.

Yeah but, instead of travelling around the world to reach your neighbour …
1 – (1 – 5%) * (1 – 7%) * (1 – 10%)
1 – 95% * 93% * 90%
1 – 79.515%
20.485%
Conditioned probability is just the complicated way. Instead calc the probability of three parts not triggering once.
oh, you guys!
