Guild Wars 2

Attached is a screen of what my friends maps look like, I am missing the two panels on the upper right side that display map completion percentage etc. as seen in the other attached file. I would really love to have these. I have been playing for only about a week, my brother has been playing for around four months, and my other friend has been playing since launch. What could be the reasoning behind me not having these panels? Is there anything I can do to get them? They are absolutely wonderful to have if you are a completionist like myself. Thank you in advance!

map information, like your friends have, gets unlocked at around level 15 if I remember right. after that, it is permanently unlocked across your account for all other characters.
