Ok I have a big problem regarding my legendary weapon Twilight which I forged just over a month ago.

In a drunken rage, I deleted the character which my Twilight was soulbound to. Fortunately my Twilight was in my bank at the time.

A few days later, I thought that if I recreated the same character using the same name, race and profession etc. I would somehow magically have the Twilight soulbound on that new character instead. Sadly I was wrong.

So the issue is my Twilight is in my bank, but it is soulbound to a character that doesn’t exist anymore, so it’s basically useless and taking up bank space now.

My question is, is there anything I can do to have my blood, sweat and tears pay off by having my Twilight able to see the light of day again?

I’ve already submitted a ticket to ArenaNet about it and it was a no-go =(

You’d lose the purple name but maybe try transmuting it to a blue or white weapon then to an actual weapon on a new character? Im not sure if that would work but its worth a try.

I’ve tried doing that but I can’t actually move my Twilight outside of my bank to use any transmutation stones on it. Thanks for the suggestion though.

rofl, exactly… sorry that you lost your legendary but hey… couple of years from now, you will not be playing GW2 anymore, you will not care about your Twilight but you’ll have a pretty cool/funny/epic story that you will remember for a long long time… I’d rather take that than a weapon skin in a video game…

You can put soulbound stuff in the bank.

Ah well it was worth a shot. Guess it’ll sit in my bank tab collecting dust for the rest of it’s days xD.

Quite an epic drunken rage. Was it pvp related? Because if I had known I’d made someone rage that hard, I think I might be set for my entire gaming life.

Na it was Christmas Eve’s Arah Path 4 run haha. And you can probably guess that Simin was involved xD
