Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone!
First let me say I LOVE THIS GAME!
However I bought this game during beta and played for a few days, then had to move. I have finally gotten back into the game but am finding I see a few people in lions arch here and there but out in the would questing I am always alone. Is this my server or did i just miss guild wars 2? I am on AnvilRock
Also is this how it is at level 80? I would like to play end game content but I don’t want to do the lonely pain staking grind if its going to be dead like it is now at level 80 ya know?

Not trying to sound like a troll, this is a genuine question, Did i “snooze and lose”?

I’d say it’s your server, but I’ve never been on Anvil Rock so I don’t know. What time of day are you playing? I’m on Tarnished Coast, which is always hopping when I play (typically afternoons and evenings EST).

Also, the “end game content” isn’t any different from earlier content, you just have all of it you can get at along with somewhat fancier gear. The game’s not meant for rushing to 80.

This isn’t one of the most popular sections of the forum. Anyway, the answer is no, you didn’t miss anything.

No, if you read other sections you’ll see that people actually complain about too many players ( lag and other issues because of that ). After the recent patch the game is more alive than ever. Maybe it’s your server or the areas where you quest. Or maybe it’s just the culling ( you can’t see people around you ) or guesting ( you’re moved on another server if your server is full – this could happen mostly in LA )

Can i do dungeons at level 50+?

Try guesting at the other server first. Guesting is free.

Dungeons start at level 30. So, yes. You can do dungeons at lvl 50. You can do Ascalon Catacombs story, AC explorables, Caudecus Manor story and explorables and Twilight Arbor story. The rest require more levelling. There are some people who will only want lvl 80s in their party as well as just certain classes in certain gear. I avoid those people.
