Guild Wars 2

Been trying to get Shadow Play to work but it seems to cause a random delay in key press while playing .Never used to do this.
Was wondering if anyone else using Shadow Play is having the same problem and has any solution.

For anyone that doesn’t know what shadow play is ,it’s a NVidia program that lets you record and/or stream your game play.

have you tried updating the program and your graphics card?
i use shadowplay every time i play and its working fine,
the only thing i can suggest is updating things

It’s all a fresh reinstall of Windows 10 ,Geforce experience, drivers.Pretty much everything was reinstalled.But since your not having trouble I’ll try a fresh install of the drivers and experience again maybe something got messed up.

You sure it’s not lag? Hit f11 in game and check your ping. If it’s over 125ish that’s probably what you are feeling. Ping can spike so check it the moment your skills delay.

Shadow Play works in full screen and you should have it set to manual. Make sure you set where you want the recording indicator in a corner so you can see that it is recording (green dot). I have mine in the top right corner. edit You can try adjusting the settings and see if that helps. Other than that, make sure GeForce is updated regularaly and it is compatable with win10.

I tried using ShadowPlay with GW2 a year or so ago – had the same issue.
1. Tried contacting GW2 support,
2. They suggested contacting nVidia support,
3. nVidia support suggested contacting GW2 support. Repeat.
So, all I can say is that you’re not the only one having this issue.
Might be worth posting this in the tech support forum area, but not sure if there is any real solution.

Having exactly the same issue. Not only the keyboard delay, but double-click doesn’t work and right click on inventory items won’t work either.

I saw a video that told users to find the .exe and right click > Properties > Compatibility > Check the box that says “run as administrator” I did this and my shadowplay works perfectly fine now, no delay, no missing double click, its great.
