I have a character name that I wanted to give to my friend, so I deleted the character and they tried to create a character with the same name and it was already taken (the name was Little Dipper, so I assume someone didn’t hop on the name as soon as I deleted it, not a very popular name). My question is, is the name reserved for me to use even after a certain time of me deleting the character with that name? If so, how long?

I think names are reserved for around 24 hours. Have your friend check as often as they can every hour or so, just to make sure it becomes available.
